Victims and Witnesses of Federal Crimes Assistance

The Bureau's Victim Assistance Program was established to assist those who have suffered direct or threatened physical, emotional, or other kind of harm as a result of the commission of a crime in which the FBI has investigative jurisdiction. The FBI provides victims and witnesses with assistance, referrals and information during the investigative process. www.fbi.gov/hq/cid/victimassist/help_victims.pdf

Victims and witnesses may have concerns or questions when dealing with the law enforcement system, a system that may seem confusing and frustrating. Our victim witness personnel are available to help with those issues.

For more information, please call (907) 276-4441.
